The clipped layer’s visibility is constrained to the non-transparent areas of the layer beneath it. To create a clipping mask, place the two layers you want to use into a group, and then select the layer that will act as the mask. Hold `Alt` (Windows) or `Option` (Mac) and click between the two layers in the Layers panel.

Blending and Gradients: Photo masks can be enhanced with gradient fills and blending modes to achieve smooth transitions and unique visual effects. For instance, using a gradient on the mask can create a fade effect where the image gradually becomes transparent.
